We are a fun and friendly sports team, where all skill levels are welcomed. Whether you would like to play to win, or just for fun, this is the team to achieve both with. Women’s Football is one of the biggest up and coming sports – be part of it!
ABOUT
Swansea University women's football team is a highly competitive and enthusiastic squad. We currently have two squads competing on Wednesday in BUCs with 1st team playing in Western 2B and 2nds in Western 3A. We won Varsity in 2015 and 2016 and hope to continue this success in the upcoming season. Despite having the drive for high success, SUWFC is a warm and friendly team in which all abilities are welcome.
The team is run by a committee of students from the university which is selected each year alongside our coach, Andy Jones. This dynamic ensures that everybody has 1 on 1 feedback, a strength which has helped improve many of our players.
Being a university team is a large bonus in that we have funding from various sources to assure a smooth running of the club and also great training facilities, an example being our training facilities at Fairwood where Swansea City also train. There is also a large amount of out of football team bonding activities that range from fun nights out to chilled out 5-a-side fun-days.

Ladies Day
A day full of sports and fun to raise money for the charity CoppaFeel, who promote early detection of breast cancer by encouraging women under 30 to regularly check their breasts and raise awareness of the signs and symptoms.
